WeatherGuard used a 60-mil TPO membrane with proprietary fastener spacing at 6 inches on center along seams; StormShield switched to an 80-mil membrane with a wider 12-inch fastener pattern and a different vent boot geometry. The part numbers are not cross-compatible, though both used standard 3-inch plumbing vent boots that we stock in both OEM PGT and Dektite aftermarket versions.

To identify your series, check the inside face of any roof access hatch or the original permit packet if you have it. WeatherGuard labels are foil-stamped with a WG prefix; StormShield uses SS followed by a six-digit date code. If the label is sun-faded, measure the membrane thickness at a lifted edge with a seam gauge, or call us with your install date and we can cross-reference Anaheim permit records from 2008 forward.
